Hi, Tim. Thanks for tagging me in this post. I'm a writer for a number of Medium publications, and a negative I've found with regard to ILLUMINATION is its homepage. On other publications, posts written by contributors are featured. While I appreciate Dr. Yildiz's posts about top stories, ILLUMINATION editors and top writers, and current readership numbers, I would rather see current posts by ILLUMINATION contributors when I stop by to see what's up. I suggest posting a couple ILLUMINATION-related posts on the homepage and putting the rest in another area. Just my two cents. Thanks for the invitation to reply!

P.S. I wholeheartedly agree with your take related to highlighting. It's a nifty feature, but an overly highlighted piece is definitely hard to read.
